POL-5312 Error

Getting this:
The Square Enix ID, Square Enix password, or one-time password entered is incorrect.

Confirmed on the playonline website I have the right credentials. :( anyone else getting this?

Getting the same thing .... I linked my POL ID to my square enix account and now when I try to log in to the game it is telling me that I have incorrect POL ID or password. Why does everything relating to this game have to be so convoluted and complicated.

This makes a little more sense. I did the same thing. I had the wrong SE pw, so the website is telling me I need to wait a few minutes since I couldn't remember the pw. *hopefully* that is what the problem is.

Just to confirm what happened: When the servers went down, I linked my playonline and square accounts, is this what everyone else did?

OK, I reset my pw, and will try logging into the Square Enix site "in a few minutes" to confirm that works first.

Also, in the playonline viewer, when you enter your initial playonline password, click settings on the next screen to add your square enix account info, apparently that is now required if you linked your accoutns.

We have figured that out ... the problem is that after doing that it is saying that Playonline ID or password is incorrect .... I don't see how this is possible unless it is a technical issue one their end... afterall I could not post on these forums if I had the wrong password.

CONFIRMED WORKING. That's what the problem was. You need to add your SE account in the PO viewer.

I googled square enix change password....went to their official site, doubled checked all my password login info and found out it has in fact changed to whatever info I used to login to this site with linked accounts. I tried the info I linked and now it works.
