I know about the February update come the 9th, how it will make it possible to Proc more easily. But I was wondering, why do some of these NMs need those abilities to take our clothes off. Given the situation when fighting these NMs it's kinda BS especially when low -manning them, some of them just spam that clothes -less move which makes the whole effort pointless to say the least. Imo what is others take on this?

Some TP moves need to be dumbed down either way, I mean, Harpia have a move that gives you 4 status ailments, Silence, which prevents spells, Muddle, which prevents items, Encumberence, which prevents armor, and Amnesia, which prevents Job Abilities. All that is missing from that 1 attack is Bind and you would literally be able to do nothing at all. It is the most overpowered move in the entire game if you get hit it with, dropping your DEF a ton while taking away any and all ways of defending yourself. It is just 1 example of the overpowered attacks that monsters of the VW era had access to and we can still be destroyed by even with item level gear.

We realize that enemy abilities that remove equipment or give an encumbrance effect have larger impacts now that we've implemented the item level system, and as such, moving forward we will be doing our best to make sure that these kind of abilities are not used by monsters as much. If you encounter monsters that can use these type of abilities, we'll be sure to provide methods to avoid them or prevent them from using it.

On the other hand, content that was released prior to Seekers of Adoulin has been balanced properly so that it can be cleared even when getting hit with abilities that remove your equipment or give an encumbrance effect, so we do not have any plans to make adjustments to this content.
