Empyrean Weapons Fix?

Hello Forum,

I play FFXI since 2004(8pg) and i still love this game, it's fantastic! The new on-line FFIV is very good but i'll never play becouse (like all FFXI players) I spent a lot of time on XI.

The new contents are vey good (BCNM,WKR,Mission,Quest,RoE,AF119 ecc) but SE still do the same error, ADD NEW THINGS and forget about Old content.

Maybe people come back if:

-All new BCNM drop Hvy. Metal plate Pouch , 100's Dyna Coins, Alexandrite
-WKR drop Hvy. Metal plate Pouch , 100's Dyna Coins, Alexandrite

-increase Plasm point/kill from 50 to 200, 12.000-20.000 for run + NM's and Boss kill if you have people for 1-5+Boss.

R/E/M is the biggest contentment in FFXI or no?


Afterglow is the biggest bullshit in game.. 150 chunks of Mulcibar's scoria , 250 vials of umbral marrow, 3,000 Riftdross.

SE team who take this decision maybe never log in in game, In my opinion 10 Mulcibar's scoria, 10 vials of umbral marrow 10 Riftdross/cinders it's enough

I wanna Talk about Empyrean Weapons stage 1500 plate + 60 Riftcinders

Uptala 4153 out of 69620 total of 254196 plates(if all 18) in total 170 Empyrean stage 90-95....Aello,Qilin,Uptala drop rate around 6% (3-18 plates)

Add Heavy Metal Pouch drop to Bismarck,Morta,Ig-Alima ,Botulus Rex and change
Heavy Metal Pouch drop 100% (2-6 plates) for all NM's
6 stone -> Pouch x6 , up to 12-36 Plates... still 40-125

Change Drop rate to 2-3% up to 40% for Riftdross/Riftcinder and add this 2 drop to Aello,Qilin,Uptala witha 20% drop rate.

you can raise drop rate and NM's didifficulty but do something for Empy weapons, people love it, Maybe someone will be back with a "normal" drop%. You can half-solo Relic and Myth...but empy...GILBUYER don't count

Keep in mind that FFXIDB only gathers stats from people running the Guildwork plugin, meaning they have to be using the third-party add-on that we're not supposed to mention. With VoidWatch drops, every member of the battle must have that for it to see the loot pools. As such, I expect those stats are much lower than actual, as JP players may not be using the plugin.

I fail to see how excluding an unbiased 30% of your results would really impact your overall average, its not as though they get drops more often than others or vice versa, so the data should be just as accurate either way.

A new player how can do VW stage clear? lol

The entire system with VW's drops needs to be reworked, I think personally it should be part of the records of eminence thing, where if you kill Ig-Alima 20 times, you get one of the rare items he drops as a reward, and is repeatable. It'd bring back a grind yes, but it's a hell of a lot better than the horrific chances we currently have with the VW system.

But oh wait, this won't get looked at unless someone mentions the program that cannot be said.

A new player can nearly solo starting city Voidwatch clears with voidclusters. Add a second or third player and you need fewer voidclusters. I've been getting my LS clears by doing shouts in Jeuno/Adoulin saying I'm prepping a city clear run, and I usually get a few extra people outside the LS. With a level 99 job and the 117 armor from RoE, the early monsters are a joke. I haven't doen Jeuno runs yet to know how easy those remain, but it appears clearing the majority of them is almost soloable now.

I agree that empy should be easened up a bit, but they shouldnt become piss easy to do. After all some old relic/mythic holders worked their butt of too before dynamis and salvage became a free sauce party. not to mention the empy 99 holders that worked their butt off too

You sir have low IQ and a crybaby. First off, SE knows how many REM's it has handed out and how people have quit games with REMs. In addition they know the levels. These come out as sensors, or did in the old days.

I have a 119 Empy as well as an 85. And honestly the empys will be outdated for awhile to come, hence I don't mind making WoE for some of the weapon skills. believe it or not some weapons are even better too use then the empy for the weapon sill.

Dagen, Myrkr, Torncleaver, quintis are all better used on other weapons like relics. In some ways even CDC. In some ways the biggest joke is lvling a 90 empy to 119, spending all those millions and a r/ex drop or a ah tem can do empy weapon skill better. Or a relic.

P.S. I am sure empy items wll make it into RoE, or a new type of event. personally I hope hey don't.

Only Empyrean I have is Kanagi 85. I did Apademak until I found the next part is simply absurd... 1500 heavy metal plate is a big number. Worst is I don't know if it can be done with few ppl... Not many shout for VW nowadays and I definitely don't have 18 friends (slave) to do with me VW a million time for this...
