The timed events sometimes repeat on same day, but when this happens, there is no possibility of the bonus reward. So it is pretty much a waste of time.

They don't sometimes repeat on the same day every day the one in the NA morning will be the same one at night. And you can actually still get the bonus but it seems you have to do this before jp midnight... which means if you are NA you have to do the early morning one that starts at 3 am pst before 7 am pst.... anyways it's a bug report
