Hello,

There has been a lot of negative talk about Gungnir, and also about the 119 version. The issues are that the defense down effect does not stack with angon; to make matters worse the gungnir defense down also overwrites angon, which in turn makes the DPS of the alliance lower.

Furthermore, Geirskogul (WS attached to Gungnir) as a WS is horribly weak, and has a terrible AGI modifier. The aftermath effect of shock spikes is also terrible, consider the added effect of "stun" does very rarely proc, and the spikes effect itself deals no worthwhile damage.

Excalibur's added effect vs enspell issue was fixed recently. Although, the Gungnir issue may be more complex, I would like an official statement on wether Gungnir is working as intended or if there are any plans to improve this weapon beyond it's current state.

I'm so tired of hearing people talking down on Gungnir because of this defense down issue (as well as the weak WS/aftermath).

Looking forward to an offical response (wink, wink, Camate?)

Faitful DRG and Gungnir 119 owner.

Hello,

The issues are that the defense down effect does not stack with angon; to make matters worse the gungnir defense down also overwrites angon, which in turn makes the DPS of the alliance lower.

System-wise we were unable to push Gungnir’s added effect further down the priority list and as a result we have to push this back. However, the development team realizes that this is inconvenient and they are currently looking into making it so that Gungnir’s added effect will not activate on an enemy with the effect of Angon. This adjustment is planned for the February version update.

In regards to adjustments to overall enhancing and enfeebling effects, the extent of the impact is very large which in turn means that the amount of work and testing required is quite large, so as a result we do not have any plans to do this at the moment.
