In the config menu of chat colors by adding a option for changing the color of detrimental effects in the log when they wear off the enemy, it would help RDM performance so much.

You see when all chaos is happening at once, when you must see what the monster is doing, when you must see what's happening to your party and to your alliance, when you must see the party or linkshell chat, and when you must see your own actions....

It all becomes a solid block of white text. When the detrimental effects wear off, it's white text hiding in white text. When you must re-apply them, in this high level end game content today every second counts. If players can see exactly when it wears in their log then they don't have to waste time spamming, searching, waiting in their text log.

As a RDM why must i manually change every color in the chat system just so i can see when a white text detrimental wears off? Why can't there just be a option to change the color of the text when a detrimental effect wears off?

This would be really nice for a ton of jobs.

Great suggestion.

Chat filters, in general, need to become much more granular. "On" and "By" should not be grouped together, for example. They're two completely sets of information with two completely different uses.

Seconded SO much what Sfchakan said.

Not only RDM, but WHM too would greatly benefit from more tailored coloring of the chat log.
All them enfeebles... all them buffs... there's a LOT for a whm to pay attention to.... it's not just all cures.
(And while we're on the topic, maybe adjust some of the dispell notifications..... "removed X buffs" doesn't really tell the whm or brd what they need to reapply.... but I guess that's why ppl use chat clients like skype and w/e while they play.)

If they want to help RDMs, they'd let us macro in whole gear sets with one command.
