Cocobo Shirt buffs

Stupid question, when I wear the shirt the buff icons do not appear anywhere on the screen. Shouldnt they be up by the signet buff icon is? How do you enable the buffs?

passive stats from equipment never appear as a status icon. you're still getting the stats (or not if you don't meet the requirement for the latent) but either way it wouldn't be a status.

Since I am level 8 I assume I meet the requirements, if I did not I guess there is no way to tell? Looks like it works up to level 30?

yah, you're all set at lvl 8. and yes, unfortunately there's no way to actually see your ACC in the UI.

your equipment screen will show att, defense, base stats, elemental resistances, and hp/mp. but that's not the whole picture. supposedly it's actually on the agenda: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/39162-Battle-Stats-Menu?p=487221#post487221
