How do you get Monisette to accept armor for upgrade?
She says I must talk to Sagheera first. But Sagheera only wants me to give Ancient beast Coins for upgrade and I don't have any!

You have to chat with Sagheera first. One of the menu options unlocks Monisette's function. Do you have access to Al'Taieu?

If you don't yet have access to Sea, you won't be able to progress with upgrading your AF, as it's tied to the previous upgrade of AF, which required Sea access, lol.
