I was just thinking about this in terms of BST jugs, and I get why the developers are making the new jugs from new items that drop in new content. Cause otherwise why have new crafting materials if you can't make anything from them?

However, it has come to the point where there are simply too many items that are worth essentially nothing. Look at the AH. No one is listing most things because they will not sell. People just NPC them. It's a waste, and a barrier to people who actually might want to level up crafting.

What I'd like to see is for recipes to be made more simple and for the number of ingredients to decrease, rather than continue to increase.

It's not sustainable to continue adding a new piece of grass here, yet another kind of coconut there etc. I'd rather see effort made to ensure crafting materials remain relevant.

Why not more use of cerberus hides? Or behemoth hides, or cashmere or *insert formally super valuable crafting mats here* Lets have some more recipes that use Phrygyian ingots and rainbow cloth and moonstones etc.

Ideally I'd like to see craftable end game stuff use a variety of rarer materials that are available at different levels to help ease newer players into the economy (and help make leveling new jobs seem like less sunk time - since we could combine farming into it)

It would also be great if you could vastly speed up lower level crafting and have more recipes that use stuff that is easily available to lower level players - so they could say level up thf and make their armor and their weapons as they go (if they wanted)
