Any word on the UI update?

Forgive me for overlooking if there has been, but I can't seem to find anything concrete or recent, it just seems like once or twice a year it's referred to, but then fades away.

Probably not. I did say that it was probably a "look at what seeker's offer!" feature..but seeing as seeker's is creepeing up on it's 1 year anniversary...

Last I checked the test-server, it was pretty much in the state that which the thread: [dev1156] New User Interface describes.

I do guess that they have a more developed state of it not-on-the-test-server (which is a very preliminary one, mind you), but I'm sure it has still a long way to go.

I did already have lots of fun from it, as its fonts divided by zero certain something when playing via Wine, and I had a blast figuring that one out. ·—°/


It's obviously not the highest of priorities, and as I mentioned above, will likely take quite some time to get into something to be thought of implementing for the live-client. I maybe guess.

I'd love to hear how this is progressing. I also checked it out on the test server, and while it was obviously a work in progress, it showed a lot of promise, And felt extremely snappy.

this is something ive been waiting a loooooooong time for. :p And I never even got the chance to test it, as apparently the test server is down at this time.

Hello, everyone!

I think you’ll all be happy to hear that we have a Test Server update planned for this week, and this will include an update for the new UI.

Additionally we will be making various other adjustments such as camera modifications.

Please be sure to check it all out!

Glad to hear it! I'm waiting for the Live version, but simply knowing it's on the Test server means it's not far off at this point, huzzah!
