At one time, I had 4 FFXI characters, and then I deleted and canceled one.
When I logged in just now and I got an "updating content ID list" message and saw that the "create character option" wasn't grayed out, I broke into a sweat thinking I'd been hacked and my characters had been deleted. But as it turns out, my 4th blank character slot reactivated.
Interesting. Was this announced?
