I kinda feel bluh about the freebie email code thing.
It's not clear if you pick one item from the whole list... or one from each category... cause... that's kinda a HUGE difference.
And the items that you can pic... They're pretty much just "this is for skillups only" (ridill etc) or just vanity... I mean, even the Hauteclaire has a 109 version atm. http://wiki.bluegartr.com/images/9/95/Kheshig_Blade_description.png

It's now just a vanity item... just like Nightfall...

Probably gonna get Nightfall... because:
1) at 1 regardless of category + SKC exchange table = vanity giveaway
2) Like you said, Nocturnus and Nightfall are nigh impossible to get atm cause of the entry restrictions of the BCNM.

I'd like to see emp boots added to the items redeemed by points, you hardly ever see a boot hunting party shout these days and trying to solo takes ages, the npc that exchanges three odd ones for the ones you want is nice but really getting any boot drops can take awhile.

Well for one I'd like them to not have the 2000 point items worth 2000 points when I can just go into sky and kill Byakko for a few fibers, is it -really- worth wasting 2000 points over? If anyone is the tool here Draylo, you might want to watch what you say, because I'm just giving my honest opinions. The items I -wish- were on this list were the relic armors from dyna's OTHER THAN X AND B. Is that a bad thing? Is it? Yeah they used the same B and X kupons all the way until this campaign, now people can't buy any further. It's as if they just stuck categories of items on a dart board and threw darts at it to figure things out. People won't be able to upgrade their empy armor (I already have seals to +1 empy armor across all 20 sets, I could care less about myself) because SE decided to take that out. Literally do you see -anything- of value aside from another line maker in Behemoth Dominion?

I actually initially thought this campaign was a bad idea because it removes content from the game for people. People love skipping things like Abyssea but its actual content the game offers. (Because 300 points for a single use costume item is ridiculous, plus hardly anyone does Meebles so might as well add the powder in so people can be all boxy. Also I think that the value of the seals at this point is meaningless, because obtaining them is so simple that people can manipulate that system... The current system having 1 Sacred Kindred Crest at 100 points, I can buy 3 Beastman Seal for 30 points total, and convert that into an SKC. So I can either waste 100 points per SKC, or spend 30 on 1 Beastman Seal, wait for the December 10th update, and swap 400 seals for SKC's. Is this starting to make sense?)

None of those 4k items are actually good anymore just vanity items. Plus given that sky god pops are so common now they sell for like 5k each the worst drop from those mobs being 4k points seems a tad crazy.

The 2k points bracket is genuinely bizarre. I've been NPCing my phoenix feathers for 1200 gil, the ones that drop in ODS like confetti at weddings. I've been NPCing my marlboro fibers and BB blood from there too for years, until SE made an update where it was possible to gouge unsuspecting people with those drops that are easy to get with 30 kindreds seals, in two minutes.

2k points could have been REM chapters, or ra-ex furnishings, new Orchestrion Parts, new 11th festival event clothes, etc. Anything except phoenix feathers lol.

Well... in case you missed the fact, they're being used for the level 99, or 109 rather, artifact armour restoration.

It's cause everyone just NPC'd them for so long cause they used to be NPC garbage....
I don't really know why some are now millions of gil... (on Odin) but... I can only guess that it's because the supply is extremely low and demand is high due to the 109 AF1.
Which will probably only get so much worse due to the 119 happening tomorrow... >_>
I don't think 2k points is gonna affect prices though....

And for the last Login Campaign... I'd have rather seen Arise and Meteor at a 2-4k point tag.

I thought about the login rewards, and some of it makes sense and some of it doesn't. I like things like Beastly Shanks because even if you have the pop item, you still have to go out and kill Behemoth (please make multiple ??? SE). Likewise, Sacred Kindred's Crests makes sense because it allows you do the SKC battlefields. You still have to do the work. Even thing like Yggzi beads makes sense because you still have to kill Delve mega bosses.

What doesn't make sense to me is just giving us items. I'll gladly take Empyrean seals and +2 items but I don't think it's good for the game. It's just obsoleting Abyssea. It's bad enough that Empyrean weapons are almost always the worst of the 3 RME (and their WS are no longer exclusive). Why kill seal/+2 farming too? I like the idea of ZNM triggers, but I think T4 pops is too generous. Something along the lines of T3 trophies is probably more reasonable.

I know people are rightfully bagging on the 2k items this time around, but it might be worthwhile for Beetle Blood. My understanding is that the rest of the upgrade items have a 100% drop source somewhere in the game (KS30 for Malboro Fiber, for example) or are common enough that prices aren't crazy. A lot of 109 armor is going to be upgraded to 119 in the coming months, and there will have to be an influx in upgrade items from somewhere.
