Maybe they are going thru and deleting those that don't meet "forum guidelines"?
Some of those titles looked like they NEEDED to be deleted.. hehe

I really would like people to think before they type and try to be less rude.

being rude to other players is like being rude to SE for having these forums. Need to play nice so they keep them.

You ask me, there's not enough threads being blocked out. I want Bacon Mage back. I don't know how the "Down with gear swapping" thread is remaining afloat. Not constructive at all, it's only a destructive, mind melting waste of space and words. :/ Too harsh? I don't care, it needs to be locked/deleted.

From my understanding in the ToS threads really need to be constructive and some seem to hid under the raider.

bacon mage is not constructive, the only way around that is to have sections for playful threads and make it more clear what SE expects, see thread:

I see a lot of stuff getting redlined. I hate to think some of the job adjustment threads will end up the same way just because someone doesn't like someone else's suggestions. I guess some people feel the need to shoot down any idea that will change the game/job from the way they think it should be.

However redundant the bacon mage thread may have been (I loved it to be honest), there are far more redundant threads that have strayed severely off topic. I agree that bacon mage was against the ToS of the forums, but there is much more BS floating around here.

i dont think it's ideas bringing the worst out in people, it lies more in your first point, where everyone has an idea, but they cant tell the difference between something reasonable and something completely asinine like 'please remove relics.' just because one has an idea, does not make it a good idea, i'm glad the US works like this, because ive met some people with really awful ideas for laws.

No kidding. I get so irritated at people who think that something that they don't like personally should be changed. I'm a christian myself, but I am especially irritated at those who give christianity a bad name. "This is blasphemous and I (we) don't like it! Change it immediately." If it's something you don't like, then ignore it and move on.

there needs to be a section for people to have an out for these troll comments since it is apparent we can't handle only making constructive posts/ threads.
