Some people have been reporting DC'ing and having their accounts -deleted- today, there was talks on XIAH about this going on, SE what's the word? Do you happen to know what it going on/ happen to know if the players afflicted will be able to get their accounts restored?

Frauds? Their Square Enix accounts are also deleted, this isn't a fraud, there's multiple reports across a few servers.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the automatic ban tools caught players. I was afraid of this myself with having to spam NPC so much stuff from the BC/EXP campaign. I tried briefly looking but I'm too lazy to find where it was stated at one point that certain NPCs in starter cities would propagate an automatic ban if NPC selling too much to them. I don't know automatic banning is still active but I was sure at one point it existed. I could be wrong here.

If you read some of the later comments from those that had this issue, they weren't playing a 100% pure game. They mentioned a few things they downloaded from other sites (including one that their computer found a trojan in), so I personally lean towards them being careless and getting themselves hacked or something.

Seeing things like this do seem scary at first, but I recall that as more details have come out about stuff it usually makes it clear the issue was the player. How many times have you seen posts from players lamenting that they got hacked or banned "For doing nothing wrong", but as time goes on they slowly admit to giving out character info to a "friend" or using X, Y, and Z to modify the game to their likings.

I just don't really get the point of RMT being involved in this. Especially considering multiple people had it happen at the exact same time, that's what makes me think it could be some server side issue.

didn't something like this happen in 2006ish o yea it was a keylogger from somepage. >.> once again could be on se side but unless there's a reason to believe otherwise its probably the players fault.
if its even true at all.....
