Nanaa Mihgo's Stolen Hearts

Some time ago, I was strolling over at the Japanese side of the forums as well as the anniversary site (http://www.playonline.com/ff11/xiyears/index.html), and while most of it doesn't quite concern us, there are at least samples of the music mentioned.

The CD also seems to be available via play-asia, though I'm unsure if the in-game item, a statue of Nanaa Mihgo, is included with those copies. I imagine it is, and had I 20-30€ to toss away, I'd surely try it out. Gotta catch 'em all, or something like that. ^^;

It even seems to add music to the Curator!

Track 5 is more then likely for use on the Curator (as it was found during a .dat mine s few months ago)

Is there a recipe posted for the Umbral Marrow? Though I think its called "The Shadow Lord" or "The king of Darkness"

Yeah, it still manages to sadden me a bit when it comes to in-game items, but it is what it is, and has been, so meh! Gotta try to live with it, I maybe guess. >:|

Heh, yeah, yami no ō, the Shadow Lord, as seen on their website menu (http://www.jp.square-enix.com/artnia/cafemenu.html). As far as I can tell, no recipes anywhere. I would hope it not to have anything to do with Umbral Marrow, which was simply something I first thought of upon gazing at the image. ^^;

I tried looking around a bit, but only found things related to their older drinks (http://www.siliconera.com/2013/04/13/chocobo-lattes-alcoholic-materia-served-at-square-enixs-artnia-cafe/) and blogs from the past (http://www.i-mezzo.net/log/2012/12/16182613.html), but nothing quite recent.

Be aware that it is a first press bonus, and like all these codes, time limited as to when they can be redeemed. Missed out on a wand because of that...

And don't get me started on the Tidal Talisman (which is from before I started playing). I'm a giant sucker for cosplay jewelry so missing that one HURTS!

Yeah, I'm aware, and thought of mentioning it as well as it's a good point to be mentioned!

I got my Spinet via play-asia back when, but I think it was not long after its release. May have to pass on this one, however. :\

It's not any better here, in Europe, which is why I order this kind of stuff from play-asia. ^^;

Probably for Japan only as well...

I have also noticed the lack of mention of that, which likely is related to the fact DQX isn't available outside Japan. But it's still worrisome because two-thirds of the games involved have Western releases. And the internet being the internet, non-Japanese players do know this stuff is coming.

If participation requires playing all three games... then yes, it is going to be JP-only, and that is a great shame. I do so love DQ slimes...

A couple of years later, I have some money I might spend on something silly, and order the CD from Play-Asia (fully aware of that it will very likely not come with the code for the statue).

Sure enough, an expensive coaster I get. Okay, perhaps it actually works, but still, expensive! ^^;

Perhaps there's still hope for the statue to become available in some other means.

Bummer news. I'm amazed they bother putting a time limit on redeeming digital codes that come from purchased products for a mmoRPG, but I am unfortunately not surprised whatsoever in this case. Lol :/

The problem is not that the codes expire (I don't think they do), but that they do not ship at all with the CD any longer... for whatever reason. :\

Maybe they ran out of paper to print them on!

As far as I am aware, you would have needed to get the physical copy (the codes tend to come in a piece of paper, within the case).


Now they have that blu-ray disc with goodies like the Tidal Talisman (or so I see some mention in posts here; looking at the official site (http://www.square-enix.co.jp/music/sem/page/ff11/Vanadiel/), I think there are 20 items to choose from, but I'm not sure that is referring to special items like that, or the more common items, too, that are obtained with the less rare-like pells). I think I will refrain from supporting the way they do these things any more than I have already, heh.

It's not easy though. I don't even have a bly-ray device of any kind, but I want the items. ~sigh~
