Er, need to know if the seals from Mog Coupon S will be tranferable between two characters on the same account. It sounds as if you have 3 seals for one piece of armor and with the coupon get 5 more seals should that piece of armor require a total of 8 seals. The seals are transferable between characters on the same account. I would like to know this before the campaign starts. I keep my seals on my mule to save inventory space but it would really really suck (enough to make quit) if those seals are no longer transferable between characters. Just don't want to see an update where seals making seals non transferable because of the campaign.

Each cupon S means a fully upgraded +1 empyrean item or only 1 seal?

I'm reading it as each coupon will give you 8 or 10 seals, depending on which piece you need the upgrade for.

Yes thats what i understood also, so we might be able to get 8 +1 items through this event. Not bad at all if so. Would be nice if they put +2 items as well since its becoming close to impossible to do things like Durinn for thf feet+2.

Now that I read over it I can see it's just for emp +1.

Yeah I'm in the same boat of having 200+ random seals on my mule.

So if they suddenly make them not sendable through account, I would like at least notice of this please.

Though getting the 9 free pieces from the login points would actually make up for it to me anyway tbh.
(I made it 4600 points this time. So 500 a piece = 9 pieces of +1 from the next one if it's same length of campaign)

Yea? Tell me how? Oh, right you have a linkshell or friends to back you up, so you don't know the ordeal someone has to go through shouts. Just shut up.

Yea? Tell me how? Oh, right you have a linkshell or friends to back you up, so you don't know the ordeal someone has to go through shouts. Just shut up.Tell you how? Ok, go out, get Bayld, buy the second tier set in Peacekeepers with a ton of stats on it. Goto Port Jeuno to pick up the Atma & such from the box. After you have done these two things, go to Abyssea and proceed to be a god, as every spells will bounce off you with your insane MEVA, INT, and MND, and most attacks are weak now thanks to your high DEF, EVA, VIT, and AGI. If your still having issues, simply go out, do Skirmish in Yorcia for the gear from there, and its much better, and that will get you through it.

Also, having friends is a bad thing? I thought it was part of the point of a MMO.

In either case, its easier now than ever, that's impossible to deny, simply because of the gear, trying to do it last year vs today would be harder because of that reason. If you cant find people via shout, ask friends to help, Amber farm the KIs for it and ask them to come out to help for a little bit, if they wont help for 10 minutes, they are bad friends anyways, and if you have no friends, then you should go make some.

I duo everything with a friend. You should try getting one, but with your crappy attitude I see why you have a problem in that area.Justin pretty much said everything else.Nothing in aby is hard at this point. Some nms are annoying but not hard.I shouted to get 100k ampoules in ein, shouting is not hard either.

Since I've spent less than an hour in Adoulin since release, how simple is it to gain bayld if you don't already have +1 abyssea gear?

Since I've spent less than an hour in Adoulin since release, how simple is it to gain bayld if you don't already have +1 abyssea gear?Any job that can attack from a range can kill nests directly outside of Adoulin in Ceizak Battlegrounds (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Ceizak_Battlegrounds) @J-6, you can use this map (http://www.bg-wiki.com/images/a/a8/Ceizak_Battlegrounds_Map_Marked.png) to find it, and other Lair Reives very easily.

Normally you will probably not get much Bayld from this, only 500 or so a Reive, however you can get Coalition Assignments (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Category:Coalition_Assignments) from different Coalitions (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Category:Coalitions) which reward Bayld as well, such as Peacekeepers (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Peacekeepers%27_Coalition) who offers the assignment Preserve: Ceizak Battlegrounds (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Preserve:_Ceizak_Battlegrounds). This assignment rewards you 750 Experience & Bayld for a single Imprimatur, 1350 for 2, and 1800 for 3. Imprimaturs are basically assault tags which recharge 1 Imprimatur every 6 hours. If you play a more melee based job, you can do the same thing, however subbing dancer and a bit of caution will be required, or simply a healer to assist you.

Another way to obtain Bayld easily, and can be done on any job, is Skirmish Bayld farming. In order to do this you only require a Skirmish (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Category:Skirmish) Simulacra (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Category:Skirmish#Assembling_Simulacra), easily constructed for a small fee of less than 1k gil by Oston (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Oston) so long as you bring him 1 of each of the 3 pieces required to make one (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Simulacrum_Segment). After this, you will want to gather a party of 5 other people to come with you, preferably someone with RNG, BST, /RNG, or /BST. Then, depending on the Visage you used, travel to that area's Augural Conveyor (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Skirmish#Skirmish_Areas). Now, basically what you do is enter the area, and search for the Noetic Ascension (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Skirmish#Noetic_Ascensions), once you find it, select Bayld as your reward, then use the Temp Item Farewell Fly (http://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Farewell_Fly) to exit the area, pass leader to the next person, and repeat until all 6 runs are finished. Each run will net you 30k or more Bayld, and the KIs are around 50k total on the AH on Phoenix right now, or can be gotten from Reives such as the ones I mentioned above.

Note: When Skirmish Bayld farming, you should always use low tier parts due to their low price, since only Legs effect the amount of Bayld gained, and each additional tier only increases the original 5k, by 500. If someone does use a tier 2 or higher leg piece however, you should attempt to find a second Noetic Ascension, as it will allow you to get Fragments as well which are used to buy items to augment Skirmish gear & weapons, some of the best items right now.

It seems like they will keep rolling out these login events during the whole 11th anniversary year, with increasingly desirable rewards towards the end <just my guess>. So you may get your +2s in a later event, but they will probably cost more points. Already the rewards are better than the first events, for example the new statues are very nice & tbh they are the only thing I want from LC3. Way nicer than the tired old DM statues etc. Seems also that the LCs are designed to keep peoples' mogbonanza mule ID's open for almost a year instead of just for the normal 2 months, as the login thing first happened as an overlap with the MB prize month when lots of people had their extra bonanza ID's activated. I suppose it brings in some extra money for SE which is always good specially since the ff14 situation.

AND the value of ppl's shanks and other item pops are gonna go back up.
Probably not to the +1mil they were.... but higher than the 1~10k I've been seeing lol

I totes am taking credit for the +1 seals being in this one. lol
I know that a JP probably also suggested it... but I suggested it in the english forums waaaay back forever ago when the rewards for the second one was announced.
(though I think having all the seals be 1/10pts would have been better...... but a 500pt get all the seals in one shot is ok.)

And the mannequin pieces!!
I have some friends who just started recently/came back who never had the mannequin pieces...
They are totes lucky!!

Here's a question: why are you farming Durinn for jewels of voyage? Briareus is a -much- better option...

Why is Briareus better? You have to kill 3 NM that aren't right next to each other for a chance at a single drop versus 3 NM close to each other including one timed spawn that's almost always up.

let see. durinn drops = Jewel of Voyage X3. stone of voyage 1, jewel of wieldance1, card of wieldance 1 + like other dude said NMs are much closer to pop.

Briareus drops = Stone of Voyage 1, Jewel of Voyage1, Helm of Briareus 2. + pop NMs are far and sometime +2 dont drop even with yellow proc!.

so ya if you mostly farming +2 durinn drops it way more then briareus.
also better chance for help if needed since it drops 3 other kinda +2

In all honesty if your issue would be with actually killing the NM, Bria is much easier to kill than Durinn, however at the same time, Durinn is the better NM to kill if you can kill it. Durinn is harder to kill because he actually has some deadly attacks & spells, while Bria is easy, and even plays the lotto with you, he uses the same TP every other time and its damage determines his next TP, if you see the ZombieCurse attack coming in your near future, run away till he does his next TP, wastes it, and then go back to fighting, or better yet, so long as he doesn't 2H, just /DNC & stun it, then continue to kill while you use /DNC to heal. Since to me it sounds like Spectre is having killing issues, not dropping issues, Bria may be the better of the two.

Of course its easier but still impossible unless you got a blm on your pocket. Idk whats wrong with me i dont like pestering ppl for things they dont need anything and Durinn is one of the worst mobs to farm due to the amount of prerequisites.

I wish some nice soul in Asura helped me finish those boots. It's probably the last piece i care about in abyssea. And btw sorry for being rude to the other guy, sometimes i have no patience at all when someone comes saying everything is easy.

Coz Adoulin gear is stat-heavy but has very few job-specific bonuses. Relic+2 and Empy+2 armors have a lot of jobspecific bonuses which are especially useful for pet jobs. SOA gear is like one big WS-macro set with just Hulk-Smash stat bonuses and nothing much for your actual job.

Mind you, I'm going at it bassackward, but I grabbed the SOA gear, then went back to start picking on things for job-specific bonuses. Plowing through older content in Skirmish/bayld gear makes life a LOT less painful, and it means I'm a lot more helpful on Abyssea fighting.

I've been watching the local RUNs solo Isgebind in their AF, FFS. I can pretty much blitzkreig the weakest NM's without a care in this stuff, and I'm -horrible- for filling in the gaps for earrings/rings/waist/back right now. The real pain on Abyssea mobs is the potluck for getting staggers if you're soloing.

---

In any case, there's a mannequin in my future this time, I think. :)
