When the public gets the offical software/tools to the public to build FFXI model and animation stuff of corse we will see some Dat changes but what I would like to see is players publishing there own designs of armor, monsters, battle animations, npcs and other to square enix for free.
Square Enix desides if there worthly to be put into the game.
This would be a nice for updates and less work on the devlop team making all these models themselfs. Would speed up or improve the amount of stuff we get in updates.
There are already dat file editing software out there on the enternet but isnt offical.
