View Full Version : How about some sort of "Mog Ledger" to tell us the types of currencies we have?

It seems like there are a lot of different currencies out there.

There's gil, of course, the standard game currency.
Then there are the points based currencies that you can see on the conquest maps -- conquest points, imperial standing, allied notes, and bayld.
There are also item based currencies -- things you gather in your visible inventory slots to do quests like ancient beastcoins, Dynamis currency, alexandrite etc.,
Finally there are currencies that aren't in your inventory -- therion ichor, cruor, dominion notes, plasm, and probably more that I can't remember. These are the kinds that you have no idea how much you have unless you talk to an NPC.

Could we get some sort of item, like Magian Specs, that we can use to look up all this information at once, in any place?

Or add the functionality to the existing Magian Specs.

Or add the functionality to our Mog House moogles.

Anything but the current system of talking to separate, scattered NPCs.

I thought about this a while ago and my idea was simply to add the "currency" count to the region map of whichever expansion it belongs to. For example Einherjar/nyzul/assault to the ToAU map. The only one that would be missing from that would be cruor, but really who needs to know how much cruor they have at any given time (although I suppose it could be added to the Middle Lands map due to its connection to VW).
