Steps:
1. I bought and augmented Weatherspoon Souliers.
2. I went to Yorcia Weald and did a Lair Reive. I noticed my spells were doing less damage with Weatherspoon Souliers than with Morrigan's Pigaches +1.
3. I went to East Sarutabaruta as SCH/WHM (89 Base INT including 1 merit, 0 MAB in traits) and cast Stone on Tiny Mandragora:
3a. With no gear equipped, Stone did 143 damage.
3b. With INT+9 in gear, Stone did 152 damage.
3c. With only Weatherspoon Souliers equipped, Stone did 152 damage. The INT+9 did show up in the equip menu and the damage matches INT+9.
3d. With only Morrigan's Pigaches +1 equipped (INT+9, MAB+9), Stone did 165 damage.

Target: Fernfelling Chapuli in Ceizak. Have already confirmed they have 96 Int from other testing, so I know exactly how much damage a given spell should do.
Job: Sch/Whm (no MAB traits).

Casting Water (tier 1) with 96+9 Int did 41 damage, exactly as much as expected. Gear was Refraction Cape (8 Int) + Dark Ring (1 Int).

Casting Water (tier 1) with 96+9 Int using only Weatherspoon Souliers also did 41 damage. No damage increase observed from the expected MAB.
