Let's have some AF1 upgrade quests for the other 20 jobs.

For example, if you're going to cheat Paladins out of a level 106 Bayld Sword, let's have the opportunity to turn Honor Swords into something worth swinging.

A level 109 Kukulcan's Staff with proper Avatar stats would do well to address Summoner issues.

Any other ideas or ways to extend this to all Artifact Armor?

That's a decent discussion going on, though I'm focusing more specifically on the weapons and ways to improve the armor sets themselves rather than combining Artifact, Relic, and Empyrean.

Some ideas I'd like to throw in:

*Fencing Degen 109
DMG:80 Delay:230
STR+15, MND+15, MAB+10
Cure Potency +15%
Elemental Enhancing damage +20
Sword skill +108
Parrying skill +115

*Honor Sword 109
DMG: 81 Delay:230
STR+20, MND+20, Cure Potency +15%
Sword Skill +108
Parrying Skill +115
Damage Taken -25%

Damage Taken -25% is way over the top.

DT -8% more reasonable.

Remember, gear isn't actually as overpowered as it looks, we're not getting gear with all+25/double attack +15%, we're getting gear that's meant to substitute for level increase. If we were level 120, Uk hat might look like All Stats+8. You probably won't be seeing gear with store TP +50.

If they stick to what they said... The stats that that are so heavily inflated will be.

Accuracy / Evasion / Magic Acc / Evasion / The 7 basic Stats / Attack / Defense / M.Att/Def / Weapon Skill.

Taking your inflated level 120 monk and fighting Botulus Rex should feel something like fighting Cerb at 99 but pre-adoulin.
