Just been looking at some things while enjoying Monstrosity, and noticing a slight problem for the Dhamel sized ones or larger.

Once the normal mobs in Xarcabard become too weak, they only have NM's to XP off of, and 90+minutes for one barely EP NM seems a bit extreme.

So have to wonder if more zones are going to be opened up, or if some monsters are not really intended to hit 99 on?

After hearing about some of the things others have unlocked, some of the larger monster groupings get smaller versions, but not all of them.

Dhalmel is still the best example for one that ends up stuck due to zones it is restricted to, as yet to hear of a smaller version of them. As Xarcabard's highest level monsters are the Demons at 52, and the Shadow Dragon at 53 Which are both just shy still being EP at 99, the cut-off seems to be just the other side of 55.

So are there plans for giving all the large monsters a smaller form, or adding a zone or two that is large monster friendly that also has normal mobs that are higher than the ones in Xarcabard?

Large monsters do suffer from having no exp spots post ~50-55 or so.

I imagine this will be alleviated once they introduce RoTZ and CoP Zones to the mix... For now I guess we'll have to level one of the other 20 or some odd creatures :|.

Personally I'd recommend Tiger or Raptor as people are praising them. But for now, Theres still a lot to be implemented, bide your time :D

That is about all that can be done, wait and see. Not that I currently want to 99 Dhalmel yet, I just know that if that species unlocks anything after level 55 it is going to be one huge pain in the rear grind, thanks to chatting with someone that made it to 55 with it.

It just makes unlocking new beast family types a pain, since people been finding some unlock at the higher levels. As still don't know if Ram and Dhalmel unlock any of the others, while the other larger ones seem to have small versions to keep going normally.

Sapling and treant are linked, as are Wamoura and Wamouracampa.

Most of the families outside of beasts have been fully found out as well. Which seems to be plauged by large monsters and needing high levels to unlock the last ones.
