The quests I'm referring to are Scouting the Ashu Talif, Royal Painter Escort, and Targeting the Captain.
These quests are the only way to obtain very important automaton attachments, including the economizer, turbo charger, and optic fiber. These quests require a 3 person minimum, can only be repeated once per earth day, and gives loot that the party must lot/share. Needless to say, these important attachments all sell for a very high price (usually 1.5.-3m on Asura). These limitations were fine when the expansion was initially implemented, but the game has moved in a different direction and I believe this warrants minor adjustments to either (1) the quests' accessibility, or (2) the accessibility of the attachments.
These barriers/limitations of the quests for vital PUP automaton attachments serves to benefit those who own multiple accounts. These quests are easily solo'd by a level 99 job, but you still have to find two other people to engage in these quests, which can be a daunting task since the focus is on new content. PUPs almost always have to buy these attachments off the auction house (when they're available) because the game has moved away from ToAU content. The probability of the attachments dropping plus the likelihood of you rolling the high lot makes it very hard to find other people to participate.
All I ask is that either (1) these quests be adjusted to accommodate those that don't "triple box", or (2) let these attachments be procured from another source. Removing the three person minimum would be ideal. Adjusting the quests to work more like burning circle seal/orb NMs, where each of the three people individually "spends" their daily use of the quest for x3 runs, would also be a reasonable solution.
These quests drop vital and important PUP attachments and they are currently inaccessible to the modern player with one account.
