Need help getting empy gear :(

Hey, I am really needing some help getting my empy gear for Bard... All I have is a lvl 99 PUP and lvl 99 Bard. PUP is horridly geared... worse than bard lol. I shout and shout and have been for days for seal parties for empy gear and nothing... not a bite. FOR DAYS!! It is horridly frustrating and I lose interest in playing when I cannot advance my Bard to the level I see everyone else's bards at that run around Jeuno (or at least close to it).

The seals I am after are Bard body and Bard hand seals at the moment. If anyone else needs the seals dropped by same NM and want to help out it would be awesome. Or if a LS out there does a lot of nooby help I would love to join :P

I am on Bahamut server by the way. My character's name is Rhynevald.

If you're after BRD body seals, one great way to knock out multiple birds with one stone is the Brygid quest in Abyssea-Altepa. The quest can reward you with seals for numerous jobs including BRD. In addition, you are rewarded with a Stearc Subligar after each completion which has a chance to have refresh on it.

Keep in mind that you will have to obtain a significant number of pieces of gear in order to complete the quest reliably. However once you do, you can spam the quest as fast as it takes to exit, enter, and go to Flux 8.

Also just an extra option you may want to consider. Since you already have Pup leveled, you might want to check out other sites about soloing in Abyssea. Get a few good atmas and you should be able to solo your seals and +2s.

well I don't know how huge of difference gear makes... But with my current PUP, i tried to go get bubbling oil for Teekesselchen by soloing those pots around his pop zone... I could solo them, But my puppet had to cast quite a few Cure V's and was pretty low on mana at the end and I usually ended the fight in yellow health. Lol if that is an indicator on how an NM fight will go atm... Cuz yes my PUP is 99 but could not get any parties for his empy gear either. He has 2 relic pieces and the rest is his AF lol... he has some decent lvl 99 weapon though... And puppet is white turban puppet.

This is a VNM that players are usually killing in pursuit of the empy shield/instrument. They usually don't want any drops from it, just a key item drop. They'll usually have a thief and will let you try to proc if you ask nicely.

The only downside to this NM is that she's (she's a garuda) only up once every 10-20 minutes, but people farming this will usually be there for hours.
