In other Final Fantasy games, Phoenix down infamously known to all of us who don't have the time to wait on a job to raise a fallen member of our group.

Death has always been around to claim lives in every moment of the game. Sometimes mages are not around, or have the MP or even maybe recast timer prevents one from raising another.

Would be nice if we had this item implemented. If the argument is that SE worries jobs like WHM will lose its value as being a raiser, I think spells like Raise III and Arise is enough to keep its status.

Sometimes Reraise isn't enough. How many times I sacrificed my Dyna day just to run in to raise a few friends?

Oh the beautiful feathers with a shiny bright light falling down from the sky...

This item would involve targeting another player with an item, so as part of an add-on to this request, I would like to ask that items such as potions be allowed to target other players as well.

I totally agree with you. If we can target players in Abyssea with catholicon, why can't we target others with meds?

Why this item wasn't in the game to begin with is a HUGE mystery. I can't count all the different times this would've been a HUGE help when someone dropped dead in a dungeon somewhere, back in the day.

Yeah back when we had to endlessly bother strangers in the area, on a different map, in LS, on Friendslist, if someone would kindly come to raise our rotting corpse? Halting the party for up to 50 minutes+ just for someone to come.
