Conquest points from pages?

People want to get the stuff so they don't have to break their wallets buying stuff off of the ah, could it be possible for people to earn conquest points from pages? I think this'd be a neat little thing to add in since it'd help get people geared instead of going to crawler's nest and me seeing lvl 40 players still in leather armor.

It should be low and only the once per day like the gil, but otherwise, this would fix the dwindling CP problem.

It'd put back in circulation the concept of 'low level gear' for the newer players, and quite frankly every time I go to Crawler's Nest, I'm typically the only one with a full suit of armor on (Iron musketeer head, hands, and feet, and then royal squire body and legs) I think that with 1000 exp pages you get like 100 points, so it's still the same 10%, it's just the jump comes from the pages along with the gradual exp, which would mimic the original gain of exp back in the old day, so truth be told you're not really doing anything besides putting CP gain back to its original rate.

I completely agree. In fact, I've brought up the suggestion of either increasing CP gain by letting page bonuses count, or to just decrease CP costs for items several times in the past, but SE seems completely uninterested in this idea, and doesn't even want to reply to the threads.

Sadly, I think this is about to become one of the many "dead horse" topics around here.

Funny thing is, if you don't page burn with an alliance...you end up with a respectable pile of Conquest Points. C-points tend to run thin when you just plunk yourself down in Gusgen and "exp" getting 3-4xp per mob while dinging on page bonuses.

Go solo-duo in Dangruf instead and you walk out at 24 with plenty of points, a pile of auctionable stuff, and ready to do 24-30 in Gusgen with actual gear and skill levels. Or go to Maze of Shak. instead and you've got yourself another 5-6 levels there that's easily done with small parties till 36 or so- or you can take that small bunch that you did Dangruf with (even solo) and go do 24-36 in Maze instead.

People run far too much on rails these days and miss the other dungeons that work rather nicely for single-PT vs. alliance groups.

Then get to the content before everyone else is done because they took the fast route. Seriously though conquest points from the pages, there's no harm to this idea at all, in fact it's gonna give Vana'diel clothed low level players and not nudists...

Fun fact: I may be only lvl 30, but I have 36k+ Conquest points. Why? Because I solo'd all of my jobs to lvl 15 while having exp bands -and- the Boundary Buster kupower. It is my favorite way to quickly farm conquest points for my aketon.

I think adding Conquest Points to pages as a once-per-day bonus like tabs and gil is a good idea, but I don't think this is going to do anything about the people showing up to page alliances naked.

That won't change until alliance leaders start kicking naked/AFK/leeching players on a regular basis.

I can go 4-24 in Dangruf without visible effort in a single day. Compare folks who do 10-30 the same way in Gusgen.

The difference is that I can't AFK-leech 50%+ of the time because I'm soloing/duoing, I end up with a pile of Gil, and plenty of Conquest points. Oh, and I actually get skillups!

Most people have no life and would rather do it in the laziest way possible...only to have to spend that time later on farming, skilling up, etc. etc. Pay now or pay later. You can't dodge that, and I'd rather do all of my paying on the same time rather than 6 hours spent in Gusgen, 6 hours spent somewhere else farming, and 6 hours trying to get my skills up from lack of use.
