what is the purpose of monstricty? I mean becoming and fighting like a monster doesn't sound too fun for me?

Many people on the test server have seemed to enjoy it. Its supposed to be a new fun event, I am interested in it myself after hearing its fun. Also they promise it will have rewards to use outside of the event itself, so it may end up being successful if done right, if they make the rewards stupid however... things will end up going badly.

It's really fun, the little while I tested it I had a blast. ^^ It's not everyone's cup of tea, I think people that don't enjoy playing as the monster will maybe enjoy the Player vs Monster they are supposed to do. At least LotR's PvM was fun. :D

It sounds like a lot of fun to me, a sort of psuedo-PVP thing.

I hope they do have some decent rewards for it, or at least new rewards. (I.E. NOT FIREWORKS)

And by pokemon, I mean you're going to get nothing out of it like pankration and it'll be doomed to obscurity in a matter of weeks.
