This is listed as Geomancy Skill +5 in the JP version and +10 in the NA Version. It gives +5, so ours is a localization error.

Sorry we didn't fix this in time for the July release, but this was reported as a known issue and therefore will definitely be fixed once the early August patch is implemented.
