New player looking for Friendly ppl to help me!

Hello all, I'm Darwyn and I'm new to this game. I've been playing for about 3 weeks now. I'm looking for some cool people to play this game with on a regular basis and to show me the ropes of the game. Also I'd prefer if people play on XBOX or have Skype so we can voice chat instead of typing.. since im on XBOX using a chatpad. I don't play RPGMMO's so this is a first for me (although I've played every FF game).

However even if you don't use Skype or are on xbox I would still love to play with you if u are willing to help me out. :)

I have looked at the guide and it is currently my lifeline. However, the game is easier and more fun with people. Also there are things from the game I don't understand like skill chains. I read the entire wiki thread on skill chains and I'm still unsure of how they work.

Also thanks for that link I've been using another wiki I'm going to look thru this one :)

NP, yeah I understand wanting to play with people. I suggest shouting for a social shell until you find one to make friends with people.

A short explanation to keep it simple:

You pretty much have two people. One person uses a weaponskill, after he does that weaponskill the second person will wait a few seconds (can't use both instantly or they won't connect for a skillchain.) and then use their own weaponskill. If the weaponskills are compatible to create a skillchain (check those wiki links to see what skillchains.) then it will create a skillchain. There are three different levels of skillchain, Lv1 Lv2 and Lv3. That's the simple explanation, rest is on the wiki articles I linked.
