Why are the chocobos in past windy black now when they started as green?
Why do Orcs ranged attacks sound like crossbows when they obveously are not?
Why is it that the COR rolls evoker and healer have switched sprights for the colors of regen and refresh? And on that note...
Why are Dancer sambas Drain and aspir switched in color? the original Drain is red, and aspir is blue? When did we start switching colors?
Why did we decide that a trumpet should play when I rolled an 11 on a COR roll? Is it because of the Trump Gun?
Why on the offical Relic wepon are dose it show coffin maker?

ABYSSEA & Lv.99

Okay, we all know that the DEV team final gave us what we wanted, more power and a quick way to obtain it. But what they didn't see was that it would be game breaking. and it was, but at the same time it wasn't. Yes I know the casualy player can now keep up with the party people... wait, never mind. no one partys anymore.
With this said, although Abyssea groups can be fun, I still beleave being able to nter at 30 was a mistake. It should have been 70-80 minamumumujm. Then maybe we would actually see gear on AH levels 30 to 80, save the ones that are now overpriced. Oh and rember thouse sweet new high level mobs that are in the way of everone because no one exps on them anyway? Whay are they still around? there main perpose of making new places for us to exp didn't go to well, even now with Abyssea.

The new expansion... thingy

Although I do not own it because I am broke at the moment, from what I have seen, the new expansion was a way for the DEV team to restore talent based linkshells to true end game status. Needless to say, this failed when SE had to make lv.100+ equipment verants just to be on par with the mobs in Delev... is that right? Delev? I don't pay too much attention to it. Oh yeah, ad What's with all the new gear being Rare Ex? Why do we have an AH again? To recycle old gear for other players and let the selling player get a few bucks? Whats with the great axe that sold for 25 mil? wait the same persone sold 4 of them? He has 100mil? where do pple get this cash? I still have yet to ever own over 2 mil at any given time.

Raise, Raise II, Raise III, and Arise... Nope, don't know why we need the anymore. R1 will do just fine.. wait, you had Auto RR on? that's cool. but serously. Arise going for 10 mil? WTF!?

When do I get to see +3? +2 isn't anywhere near as good as this other new ger, although it dose have it's uses. And the weapons... wheren't there true perpose to be THE BEST? Myth was a cool impament as they where more job spasific, and imperum... wait theose you still need a party to finish. And Ochain is broken.

Can we, Just a thought, make new art for mandu and apoc, then take all the "Rune" weapon modles and put them on those supper cool high powerd weapons from delev, that way they have there own unique appearence.
Can we just double all the DMG on every OLDER weapon to make them look like a steping stone to the new ones?
Can we be finished with this page? Yeah I guess so.

Okay so I didn't really think anyone would respond to this, and it looks like I was right. More than likely no one wants to read a wall of text. Reading back over it, it's more or less just a bunch of me whining about the things I don't necessary agree with as well as a few visual things that I have noticed over the years and upon returning to the game, still have noticed and bother me somewhat. But one thing I would rally like to know, am I the only one that noticed that the Bard's AF weapon "Paper knife" has a model that dose not mach its icon? Or is it that no one rally cares because it's an AF weapon?

Delev? This part is confusing... you say you have bad spelling but this makes it seem more like you have never heard the word Delve before... "Delve into your memories" for example...

Anyway, I don't think it is so much that your post is a wall of text than the fact most of the points you mention are either so unimportant or have been beaten to death already. I'd be willing to bet most players would be happy to have item icons of giant turds if it meant devs could spend their time improving R/E/M weapons or fixing certain jobs.

Plus isn't it part of the FFXI charm? I always liked the weird quirky parts of the game, it doesn't really make sense for the Drain spell and Aspir Samba to be the same colour but the point is that it was striking to you, it stuck in your brain and it might be one of the things you remember about this game after it has been dead and buried for a long time. Isn't that more special than everything being "correct" and "rigid"?

Your thoughts are my thoughts, (except i don't mind the black chocobos in the past ^^). But yeah, what happen to the times when people make shortcuts and SE jumps in and fixes them? This fell cleave nonsense is tearing the game apart, this new expansion, not very invested in it. Just got my first Empyrean +2 just 2 months ago, and it's already obsolete ? My lvl 99 magian sword I worked so hard for, invested so many weeks of my life is now crud >.<

Jeez, haven't seen a normal party in ages, everybody jumping into Fell cleaves, they hit lvl 99 in 2 days and don't know how to play the jobs

don't know how to play the jobsI know how to play WAR, MNK, THF, BLM, DRK, and SCH all fairly well, I do play them all fairly well too. Just because I leeched them does not effect my ability to play them. There was a time I sucked at them, but I did easier things and developed skills over time, more than likely at a faster pace as my entire arsenal of abilities were given to me at once, rather than little by little. Saying that leeching is the cause of people not knowing their jobs is not exactly accurate, a person who leeches can learn how, but the people who simply do not take the time and put the effort into it, they do something like level WHM & expect to do Delve the next day, or even the next week, and be fine, those people are the issue.

So I tend to find things that are out of place and such, last thing was a Wyvern passed out in Dynamis - Valkurm Dunes. But anyway, I was just wondering if you all have found anything weard out of late?
