View Full Version : Chapuli TP move stoneskin?

I have been fightin Chapuli for Research: Ceizak Battelground. Either this is new or I just never noticed it but today since the update I noticed that everytime they use a TP move i do 0 dmg for 1 or 2 hits. And even a WS was completely negated.

So do they gain a form of stoneskin after using a TP move? has anyone noticed?

I've seen that happen a few times so its not new. Dunno what to call it, but it does happen. Even with magic some spells get greatly reduced. Maybe it's accuracy, magic accuracy, resistance issue or a secret move? I dunno much to say other than that.

Chapulis have Damage Taken -100% for a few ticks after using a JA. It's been like that since the start of Adoulin. It also affects weird damage types like Magic Mortar and I suspect Spirits Within (no effect instead of 0 damage).

I dont know how i completely missed this feature of theirs everytime i fought them pre update lol.

The effect of the specific Chapuli TP move "Nature's Meditation" is complete physical and magical immunity (imagine the grasshopper has somehow drank both a Fanatic's Drink and Fool's Drink at the same time) for a very short period of time.

It doesn't just happen with Nature's Meditation though, it happens with any move they use.

Nature's Meditation has some other sort of effect that the log doesn't tell us about.

I suspect it's a TP-related effect, like Meditate or Store TP. They seem to do another JA pretty fast afterwards.
