You: Sorry don't know if my network speed is bad or not, did you receive my first name?
Agent Jennifer A: In order for us to more accurately address your issue, we will require additional information. Please give a brief explanation of the issue you are having and please include any error codes or messages you are receiving.
You: Well there aren't any error codes, more or less I have several issues regarding some past events that I have never managed to resolve but I am trying to get them resolved once and for all.
You: Ok issue #1.)
Agent Jennifer A: It appears you have no other issues you need assistance with. If this is incorrect, please come back to the chat and I will be happy to assist you.


Square Enix I am not kidding anymore, this is flat out ridiculous if your employees are doing this.

I waited for 30 minutes in the queue to have this happen to me, is there anyone I can talk to who isn't a complete and utter moron?

Yes.

When my security token failed, (it would generate a one-time password but I would get a password incorrect message) I contacted the chat. It went something like this.

Agent Genius: Hello. Thank you for contacting SE lack-of-Help Desk. Can I get your account info?

Me: Account info.

Agent Genius: Thank you. I have reviewed your ticket that clearly explains the issue you're experiencing. Can you please tell me the issue you're experiencing?

Me: My security token has failed, and I can no longer log into my SE Account to remove my token. Is it possible that you can remove it?

Agent Genius: I am unable to assist you with this. Please refer to the help page on changing your password and contact an in-game GM. Thank you for contacting the lack-of-Help Desk.

*Session Terminated*

Log in, call GM.

GM: You'll have to contact the lack-of-Help Desk.

By this time, I was pretty pissed off and I CALLED the SE lack-of-Help Desk.

Agent AwesomeHelpfulGuy: Hi. Thanks for calling. May I have your account information and the issue you're experiencing?

Me: My security token has failed, and I can no longer log into my account.

Agent AwesomeHelpfulGuy: It appears your security token is out of sync. With your permission, is it okay for me to remove it from your account?

Me: Yes.

*5 Seconds Later*

Agent AwesomeHelpfulGuy: I've successfully removed your token. You should no longer have an issue logging in.

My suggestion is to actually call them. Any Agent I've spoken to in chat has been terrible, just spamming copy/paste answers into the client to get me to go away. Calling them on the phone, they were polite, and incredibly quick to help.

I'm still waiting for my email to be replied to 'within 48 hours' I SENT THAT EMAIL ON THE 26TH
