So after I returned to FFxi after a short absence I joined a party to fight an Oroboron NM and they had me come to the fight as BLU because, apparently, Absolute Terror makes the fight easier. The strategy, they tell me, is to sub BLM, pop Unbridled Learning and Elemental Seal, terrorize the fish, use the rune to return to Adoulin, reset job abilities, rune warp back, wash, rinse, repeat.
It wasn't until the other day I realized... This could be considered against the membership agreement.
Is it something I should be worried about?

Considering when content first dropped people were HP'ing when they died just to get back into the fight all fresh for, idk hours on end? I think you're fine.
Granted such tactics aren't the most graceful way but you aren't subverting the terms of the event in my eyes. VW status icon prevented this and they did not attach such a thing to Delve Fights so yea i don't see any exploits going on with what you or I described above.

I'm sure SE will make a fix after enough people complain about it.

You'll find that with the KI NMs outside the fracture, you don't have 1/4th of the battle time to /heal and unweaken. Most people who shout for these NMs require anyone who dies to HP and run back to the battle.
Also, if you're concerned about it that much...I've heard of doing it the same way with 2x blu. It's possible to zerg it down before the 2nd blu's terror wears off, which does not require you to reset your JA.

And knowing Square that 'fix' will be something horrible. Maybe they'll adjust it to where the fish has draw-in, maybe they adjust it to where the fish automatically rages if it is dragged to far from it's spawn point, maybe they'll make it to where the fish is immune to terror...

That reminds me. The first time I participated in the fight I was the sole BLU that was terror locking the fish, but the second time there was another BLU with me. It was decided that the other BLU would be first terror and I would assist and I figured that they must have known what they were doing.
Boy, was I ever wrong. As soon as the fish comes gliding down the hill he unseethes his swords and engages the fish.
Me: What are you doing?
Him: Trying to face it so I can land terror!
/em face palms.
Me: Absolute Terror is a sound attack, not a sight attack. You don't need to be facing the fish for it to hit.
Seriously, I thought all the bandwagon BLUs was off jumping another bandwagon somewhere?

Seriously, I thought all the bandwagon BLUs was off jumping another bandwagon somewhere?Even if people no longer level and play it to bandwagon, those who have it already will still use it~ can be sure enough they see a win they need asking for BLU, they are gonna offer.

Idk if it breaks EUA like the op asked or not but that strategy isn't really necessary as far as resetting the ja. Having fought both Divagating Jagil and Nerrivik(2 fights for each nm) as Blu it seems easier just to have two Blus alternate terrors. That's how my fights were done. Id also like to mention if you get invited to either of those fights as Blu subbing Blm may not be necessary. It depends on how much effort you put into your Blu. In all 4 of my battles I never subbed blm and ALL of my terrors landed. No resists. I am fully merited in blu magic skill and I did swap to a magic acc+ set every time I cast. If your a "blu main" id recommend /war since it's a 20min zerg anyway. Also, Jettatura works on these mobs also. It gets resisted a little more and it only terrors the nms for a second but I used it anyway. Kinda like a "poor mans stun"

You should be warping back instead of using the rune to go back to town.

Isn't breaking any terms. It is a crappy strategy though, and looks to be for groups that can't kill it in under 10min. One terror should be enough to break its lamps, and then from there, proceed normally.
If SE had an issue with it, there'd be a status granted upon popping it like Voidwatch, which would prevent people HPing to reset stuff, or ditch weakened status.

No but that's a horrible strat. That's about a 3-4 min fight at most. Tell whoever is stuning to be on top of getting Mayhem Lantern and the fight is cake.

Or just bring a RDM for CSS, I know, crazy idea bringing a RDM, but still, did it my first kill and it was easy.

Not crazy at all, CSS still works nicely for many things especially having Relic AF2 Body augmented with extended 20 seconds on chainspell for a total of 1 min 20 seconds. Im glad people are starting to invite RDM again. I've been in several groups lately hired to enfeeble. Gravity II lands so nicely with Zammzummin staff and Kaikias cape.
I read somewhere that it requires a geomancer to lower magic evasion and some Delve pieces to land Enfeebles on T5 bosses of course Enfeebling skill above 500+.
