Why exactly do you bother having separate threads/posters for things when they are both in English, on the same area of the forum, and they are the exact same post? If anything it should just have a tag at the front like you have on every post anyways with [NA] or [EU] at the start if its region specific and use a single user for it, but as for how it is now, it seems pointless...

and NOC EU posts in French and German too >.>Makes more sense to simply post only there then or something, its not a big issue, it simply seems pointless to have 2 posts for every update and maintenance that effects NA & EU in this area of the forum both in English, posting in other areas is one thing, but they basically double post almost everything for it, like the new update posts, same posts, same topics, no real difference at all, a single post with a slight edit could accommodate both sides with no problems.

My guess is for proper localization, i.e. NOC_EU will have British spellings.

Timezones.

Indeed, but it would be less time consuming for them to just write the GMT time in brackets after the PST time. I mean the NA ones don't post times in central and eastern as well, anyway!

This does take place, but I think 99.9 % of us Brits can work out what 'apologize' means, even though it's not how we spell it lol.

Today is another example of this.
NA Post (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/34432-NA-PlayOnline-Viewer-Technical-Difficulties-(Jun.-7))
EU Post (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/34433-EU-PlayOnline-Viewer-Technical-Difficulties-(Jun.-7))

Only difference is this line...

[Date & Time]
From Jun. 7, 2013 at 4:00 (PDT)

[Date & Time]
From Jun. 7, 2013 at 11:00 (GMT)

Why is it not just 1 post... that says this!

Maybe its just me but this seems like a royal waste of their time to double post this information...
