So there are reives, skrimish, delves, and fractures. But what order am i meant to do these in and whats needed for each? The wiki has just left me confused.
For example. Lets say i want the Yaoyotl Helm. What series of events do i need to get to the correct fight to earn it?
Or one of those new weapons? like the Buramenk'ah.
I understand some gear is from the NPC, but some of it isnt? but i need key items?

BG (http://wiki.bluegartr.com/bg/Main_Page) has pretty clear descriptions of what to fight where and what drops.
I'll try to simplify it as best I can but basically:
*All reives are open to anyone joining. The only type that requires a KI to enter are the wildskeeper reives.
*Wildskeeper reives requires a KI (temporary) that costs 100k Bayld to enter. Once you beat one you get a Naakual crest KI (permanent).
*Skirmishes have no requirement to enter besides farming / buying a set of items (Simulacrum segments) and being over lv 95. You need a head, torso, and legs. Ex: cirdas visage I, faithful torso I, faithful legs I. You trade those for a KI to enter skirmish. The drops include weapons that can be augmented.
*Delve is harder than skirmish but has significantly better items than anything else atm. To be able to enter a pt into a delve fracture you need the crest KI from a Naakual. You trade a Yggrete Rocks to the Anomaly Expert @ Eastern Adoulin at (G-10) to get a KI to enter a pt into a delve fracture.
Only one person needs this KI for the entire pt to enter. So only one person has to have the Naakual crest KI.
All of the NMs that are in delve also have a counterpart outside of the fracture. Teir I, II, and III Nms for delve will drop an Impure yggzi KI for that zone. Teir IV and V NMs drop a Semi-pure yggzi KI. All the KIs are permanent. All the KIs drop from the same NMs regardless of if you kill them inside or outside the fracture. The NMs outside of a fracture are popped by trading Yggrete Shards of the appropriate teir to the NMs ??? on the map they spawn at. Alternatively you can use these shards to obtain plasm.
The Key Items you get from the NMs allow you to buy items that normally drop off the NMs for plasm. You can also receive plasm by beating NMs and regular mobs inside of a fracture. Normal Monsters are 50 plasm, NMs I, II, III are 500 plasm, and
NMs IV, V are 750 plasm each.
On top of the I, II, III, IV, and V NMs there are bosses inside of delve. The helm that you asked about is a boss drop. So it may be a bit before we see people walking around with that.
Read up on the wiki if you want what I just said in more detail. Or just ask more questions if you want me to explain anything further.

It's a little confusing at first but once you start doing the events just like everything else, it's like riding a bike. Just click on the bg wiki links and read everything.

Here's one I searched for last week, but couldn't find any details on, even on BG Wiki:
What is menace plasm?

It's mweya plasm, but when people use yggrettes to get the plasm, it's recorded in the chat log as menace plasm for some reason. It's basically delve's currency, and there's several ways to obtain it, but you can't spend it until you get at least one NM kill.

That's not entirely true, you can spend it on the Airlixrs without any nm kills.

Thank you! I wondered, but wasn't sure, and didn't want to use the item until I knew for sure what it was.
Thanks for the quick, non-condescending, and very helpful reply! :D

Except you can't do shit with it until you get NM kills, which is why you can't really do anything with what you get without NM kills.
The prices floored on Airlixirs so it's not even a good source of income anymore.

Finaly did a Wildskeeper reive (the bee).
Delve is still a problem. When ever i see a shout it always only has a few spots open and they are for PLD and supports. I have neither, and they also demand R/M/E weapons. Whats a guy without these jobs and R/M/E to do? I now have a KI for one of the area's so i could maybe start my own group?
But having not done a delve before i have no idea what set up i need or how the battle goes.
Edit: I have a 2nd KI now that some one told me about. For trading a rock to the Anomaly Expert. Whats the difference between the KI i got from the Wildskeeper reive and the one i got from this NPC?

ANY of the wildskeeper crest KIs allow you to convert ANY of the yggrete rocks (Alizarin, Zaffre, Celadon) into the respected KI (Alizarin, Zaffre, Celadon / Yantric Planchette) to enter a delve fracture. The KI from the wildskeeper reive is permanent, the Planchette is not. It's used up upon entry to a fracture.
The rock/KI type determines which zone you can enter a fracture from:
[Alizarin = Morimar Basalt Fields / Zaffre = Foret de Hennetiel / Celadon = Ceizak Battlegrounds]
The different rock types drop from their zone.
Ex: I want to do a delve for Morimar Basalt Field. As long as I have the KI from ANY wildskeeper reive, all I have to do is farm either regular mobs or do reives in Morimar Basalt Field. Once I get the Alizarin Yggrete Rock, I just have to go back to the anomaly expert and trade the rock. The npc will then give me an Alizarin Yantric Planchette. This KI will allow me to enter a delve fracture in Morimar.
Edit:
To follow up on your first question about delve strategy, an easy to set up strat is to have a good pld run into the delve and agro the 3 starter NMs. NO ONE is to touch any of the NMs or else the alliance will get on the hate list and things go downhill from there.
A whm will help keep the pld alive, and since the mobs are yellow their cures won't accumulate hate. They can spam cure.
The rest of the DDs Buffers Pullers Healers will camp out regular mobs and just mow them down for the entirety of the delve.
The reason people are so uppidy about R/E/M/D weapons and wanting tons of cors and brds is that they want faster kills / more plasm per run. Not everyone doing runs requires this though.

Doesn't need to be a WHM though. RDM will do just fine as well, with /WHM or /SCH sub.
