View Full Version : Cannot connect to PlayOnline since May 10, 2013 update!

As the title states, I have not had a successful log-in attempt to the PlayOnline Server since the May 10th update.

As I type this, I have just received Error Code: POL-0011.

"The network is busy or there is no response from the server. Please try again later or verify that cables, network devices and network settings are properly configured."

I also just a frequently receive Error Code: POL-1160, having a similar, but slightly different description.

I have not had any connection issues prior to this latest update. My network settings have not changed, I have the proper INCOMING ports open, and I have even tried connecting directly to the modem. I would to contact support regarding this topic, but lo and behold, the one time I require assistance with troubleshooting, the link to Service&Support is down. This has been an ongoing issue for over 24 hours, and I would love to get this issue resolved. I have searched the forum for anyone having a similar issue to mine, and found one post who's issue remain unresolved (at least that's what I'm assuming since the OP has not posted otherwise).http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/33578-Playonline-error-0011

Please, if anyone can assist me, or has had similar issues resolved, do not hesitate to reply. I am at a total loss and have been racking my brain over this.:confused:

Well, it would seem that no later than 30 minutes after my initial post, my issue has resolved itself.

I am still confused as to why I was unable to log-in for such a long span in the first place. I was truly hoping to find some information regarding this issue, but alas, I guess I should just be happy I'm able to play again.

Time to get some Iron Plates!! >_> /hurray
