I've been trying to do my trial, but I can't seem to use the spectacles at all. Anyone else have a problem with it?

As posted in the other thread, it's your NPC. Never been able to call the book out with an NPC present.

Yeah, the book counts as a follower NPC. You can only have one active at a time, be it your fellow, an escort quest NPC, or the book.

Thanks, I saw it in the other. :< Makes me very sad. Not that it'll ever change but that should be something that's looked at. I can't imagine that the book really need that much space for a summoning slot.

yeah.. don't remember if we ever got an official response from SE on it, but seem to recall speculation going around about it taking the NPC's slot in the stream (that would make it a PS2 specific problem...limited resources, and SE taking the easy way out by using the space already reserved for NPC's instead of trying create a new space).

They should add an option for me to ask my Fellow to read my Trial Log or what the weather looks like. :D LOL
