I think it would be helpful to the forum and general discussion threads if an option to Poll peoples views on topics being discussed was implemented.
A simple vote system that displayed a bar graph with results would be super awesome.

I think this would be great. It would help to keep down unnecessary bickering over "the majority likes this."
