Downloading the expansion and it not saving

I have downloaded the newest expansion multiple times, and for whatever reason it shows up in my download folder while it is downloading, but as soon as it finishes it disappears. I have tried downloading on another machine and pulling it off of a flash drive, but it deletes it off of the flash drive as soon as I open the folder.

I am using Windows XP.

this tells me that one of 2 thing are happening

for some reason your anti virus is killing the file(check you antivirus's log to see if this is the case)

or you have some piece of malware that killing it(run spybot or some malware remover)

Thank you for the reply SMD111. I would agree that there is something on your system trying to "protect" you from this file. I would suggest doing a "cleanboot" of the system: i.e. Go to Start>In the search box type in "msconfig" and press enter. In the System configuration utility select the start up tab and choose "disable all" apply the changes and restart your system. Once the system restarts just try redownloading to see if the issue persists.
Please make sure there is enough hard drive space to install the game and that you have the most recent Windows updates and that you have administrator rights to the system.
