Wouldn't in be great if we could interact with the environment and each other more? I mean, in a game called Second Life, they have "pose balls" that you can use to override the natural pose and movement. They can either have you animated a certain way or change your character pose. . Imagine being able to grab your teammate by both hands and dancing with them. Imagine coming into a mog house and sitting in a chair, eating the contents on the table, and having a grand feast with your LS. Imaging being able to sit by the water, your legs kicking slightly at the cold fluid encompassing your feet. Imagine being able to have the one you love lay their head on your chest as you sit under a sakura tree. Pose ball technology doesn't take up a lot of data. It's fairly low in that department. I think the addition of this feature would help us immerse ourselves in the game more fully.

Would be nice, but it would quintuple the space the game takes if not more.
Plus the PS2 Limitations.

I don't think it would take that much space actually.

I would be nice, but ever since XIV haven't they kind of abandoned XI? Any major updates they plan or do will most likely be focused toward the newest installment of the Final Fantasy genre (unfortunately). T-T

FFXI is still alive and kicking. With a few updates, this game could be on top again.

the update you want could not happen as long as PS2 is part of the equation.

The small amount of data the pose balls would take I think could be handled by the PS2. Graphics on the other hand...

Where in RAM would they fit it? At the last 5 free bits?

Fine Xp How about don't give it to the PS2 users?

Hmm. I'm getting a small feeling that you might want the PS2 users to go away so that the game's limitations are raised. Not quite sure why I'm getting this feeling though... XD

Hugs and sitting on chairs are two options that would make me happy.

If they could add job emotes, then I don't see why they couldn't add some new poses. True, many of the job emotes duplicate old movements, but some are brand new.
Personally, I'd be happy with being able to sit in a chair and lay down on my bed.

You could actually hang out in your room then instead of standing or plopping onto the floor.

If you run fast enough, you can stand inside of your furniture before it loads.
