How to purchase full game during 14 day free trial

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to upgrade to the full version of FFXI but i am only 3 days into the 14 day free trial. Would anyone be able to tell me how i would go about upgrading my account from the free trial account to the full version or do i have to wait until the end of the 14 days?

Ok, so this is a bit of a mess...

I have purchased the game and registered the game through the SE online portal thing but the only way i could do that was to add a new service account which gave me a new POL ID and password. I assumed all i would then have to do is transfer my trial POL account to my newly purchased account to migrate that information across but it comes up with a message saying to contact SE Support...

Am i going to have to start over?

Everything I could find on the matter suggest that yes, you will have to start over to use the purchased content. I myself have 2 content IDs I can't seem to consolidate into a single account, and any info on that would solve both of our problems for this particular question.

I spoke to SE Support and they advised i should have waited until the end of the 14 day trial and then activated at that point. They have advised now, however, that this has been escalated and they will de-activate my new account and link my trial account with a new CD key, i'm not sure how long this takes though as it's been almost 24 hours so far.
