View Full Version : Healing and Enhancing Magic skill ups need adjustment

Ok so I have played my paladin for a good 10 years. All my other combat and divine skill capped just fine but my healing magic is very far from the cap along with enhancing magic.

Now then I heal myself a lot on paladin considering I spent 1097 days playing FFXI and the majority of it is spent playing Paladin you think that Enhancing and Healing magic skills would be capped. I use a lot of cures, and I also use a lot of enhancing magic, protect, shell, phalanx, reprisal, enlight. Divine magic capped on its own from flashing mobs.

You think someone who's played their character this long should have all their magic skills capped.

My healing magic 334, caps at 373
My enhancing magic 308 caps at 334

SE you really need to increase the chances of getting skill ups when healing or using enhancing magic.

Also I talked to some of the people who capped their skills and their answer to how to do it was, run a bot, because its so broken in the amount of skill you gain. Now I don't want to 'run a bot' because its against the ToS and you could be banned for it if caught.

Playing your job for a long time should naturally cap your magic skills just like combat skills.

So yea people who botted their magic skill up now preform better then someone who plays legit. Takes less damage because their phalanx blocks more damage, heals for more because their healing is capped.
