Concerning the deletion of the[Removed by Moderation Staff] thread.

We find it VERY rude to have the 1st thread deleted without a reason. Seem that we might have hit a nerve at Square head quarters.

The counter measures that are in place to stop this kind of spam is flawed.

no/off - Tell messages deemed spam > Does not work!
no/off - Shout/Yell messages deemed spam > Does not work!
/Blacklist add > Does not work, there is a limit to how many you can add which is 200!

We are paying Customers that have a monthly subscription for this service, which should be more then enough to protect us from this kind of spam, Seeing that Members needs a subscription to send out tells, it shouldn't be to tough to crack down on these individuals.

Funny how they have the time to scour these forums and delete threads about RMT that isn't even promoting RMT except showing a screenshot of a shout every player gets in game anyways, yet they hardly ever reply to the posts about the important things like game fixes etc...

I understand that the Real Money Trading issue is a concern our customers face on a daily basis and we thank you for bringing the matter to our attentions. Anytime you receive a tell of this nature, please submit a /helpdesk message with the name of the suspect and the GM staff will fully investigate and take action based on our policies.

I am sorry if there was any confusion over the removal of the prior two thread, but the reason we have removed the prior threads, and have modified this thread, is because the Real Money Trading Company's URL was included in the posts, which is a Terms of Service Violation. We understand this is a hot topic, but you cannot include the ULRs for the Real Money Trading sites in your posts.

I am sorry our moderation caused confusion but we are normally NOT allowed to make edits to posts, but an exception was made for this case as we wanted to offer an explanation.

I would like to note, though, that the Moderation Team is able to close or delete any thread/posts at any time if it the contents violate any of our Rules and Policies, without explanation.

Thank you for your understanding and I am going to lock this thread as we have provided instructions on how to report these cases while you are in game.
