View Full Version : Xbox 360 - Adoulin icon not showing up.

Hello, my friend is having a problem with the Seekers of Adoulin expansion, and she wanted me to research a solution.

So she registered the expansion code through the square enix account management system, and I've confirmed that Seekers of Adoulin is still showing up under "permanent services" or whatever it's called, under her only Playonline ID.

She installed via a physical disc of Seekers of Adoulin expansion. She said she kept re-installing to see if that was the problem, but it did not resolve her issue.
She then fully un-installed Final Fantasy XI and all of its expansions, and re-installed all over again, including the new Seekers of Adoulin expansion.

She is still not getting the lit up icon for Seekers of Adoulin when at the login screen, and cannot access any features of the expansion.

Any ideas?

Does she also get the "Expansion data not installed" window when she logs on?

No she says she does not get that message.

If she's not getting the "Expansion pack data has not been installed" message, have her try to access Adoulin content anyway.

I had her talk to Darcia in lower Jeuno, she gets the same text that my other character without the expansion gets. "We are currently handling large volumes of paperwork" etc.

We apologize that you still seem to be having issues with FINAL FANTASY XI for the XBOX 360. We would like to make sure you have installed from a disc that contains one or all of the expansions listed below.

• Rise of the Zilart
• Chains of Promathia
• Treasures of Aht Urhgan
• Wings of the Goddess
• Seekers of Adoulin

These do not have to be all on the same disc, but all must be installed for you to access the new content in the Seekers of Adoulin expansion of the game.
