Steps:
Upon playing since the 4/2 update, I have come across many points in the game where my system completely freezes for extended periods of time to the point of near unplayability. This seems to be the same issue user Keeley has also reported, but I would like to provide more information, as I have many more issues than with just the Porter Moogle, as their report focused. Previous to the 4/2 update these issues were non-existent for me.

1. After selecting my character Tureer, the loading screen that is normally black and says "loading" in the lower right corner takes well over a minute to get me into the game. (Previously this would take roughly 15 seconds)
2. After zoning into any area, every time, the zone will load and I can move about normally for 2-5 seconds. Then, my system freezes completely for 30-50 seconds before resuming play.
3. When accessing my Mog Safe, Storage, Mog Locker, Mog Satchel, or Mog Sack(from any zone) I will experience a 10-20 second freeze. This is followed by a slow loading of items, usually requiring over a minute of loading before items at the bottom of the list are accessible. The items I am carrying on my character are never affected by slow loading.
4. Checking Bazaars of other players does NOT cause freezing, but does result in the slow item loads that my inventories are having.

Extra information:
I have not used a Porter Moogle since the update, but since it seems it is also a focus of other user's freezes, I should note that I do have most of the porter moogle slips in my Storage.
When choosing my secondary character on the same account Ranpopo(lvl10WHM Tarutaru Shiva), none of these issues are present. The loading screen is normal, I do not freeze when zoning at all, and all inventories load fine, just like before the update. I do not understand how 2 characters on the same account can be having such different levels of technical stability, but hopefully some amount of this information is useful in getting this fixed.

Has anyone else heard about any solutions about this? Is SE even aware of this and working on fixing this problem?

I would very much appreciate hearing if this issue is even being acknowledged. I need to know if this will be fixed soon so I can know if I need to deactivate my account until it is corrected. It's frustrating but understandable that issues come up within the game, but currently I just bought an expansion and am paying a subscription for a game that I am unable to play by no fault of my own. I was surprised this was not corrected faster already, but is this currently a priority? Or should I just come back in a few months?

See my post in the technical section and try that solution. It is not an ISP or internet problem like SE always blames on us. It is something that they did with their last patch that caused a conflict in the filing system. Let me know if that improves your ability to play the game.

Also, we really have no idea how quickly information gets to the people who can fix these kinds of problems, nor do we know if the people in charge of public relations care enough to apologize.
