Well, I started my Summoner Artifact weapon quest a few years ago.... I received the Earth pendulum, but later when i needed some more room in my inventory I just happened to toss it. I now cannot start the fight in the Cloister of Tremors needed to complete the quest. I have tried to go back to redo the cut scenes for the quest, but got nothing. I cannot do a AF memory reset since I don't have all of the AF which is needed to do that. I even had a Summoner friend reset her AF memory for Summoner then get an Earth pendulum, and went in to the BCNM with her, but still cannot complete the quest. I've tried to call a GM and ask them what I need to do, but they wont help me out either. Does anyone have any idea how I can reset this quest so I can finish my Summoner AF. Its called The Puppet Master and its for the Kukulcan's Staff. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Play a new character to play with your stick and clothes?

Short of using your 1 restore, I think that you have to wait for the AF weapon update. Even then, that might require you have completed the quest first. /shrug

Buy some Austere and pretend it didn't happen, I guess.

I'm pretty sure you did it correct. Pester the GMs until they help you. (Or admit the game is bugged)

He tossed a r/ex item which the NPC does not give multiple copies of before using it to enter the fight and giving it to npc... There is no bug, that's just a giant screw up.

You only need to toss one piece of AF armor to be eligible for memory reset iirc but from the sound of it you have no pieces, so the game considers you to have not done the quests, so you're just boned.

I am not sure if it will work with this particular quest, but there are some quests that you can clear with multiple people. If you can find someone else who needs to do the BC, it may be possible that you can go in with him to get the required cutscenes. This will only work if the item is only required to enter the quest BC, I am honestly not sure if this is the case here though, but it is certainly worth a shot.
