Please extend this double experience point period Thursday, April 4, 2013, 8:00am (PDT) to Sunday, April 7, 2013, 7:59am (PDT)

until Sunday, April 7, 2013, 7:59pm (PDT) because a lot of us don't get to play very much except on Sundays, Thank You.

I'd agree with this, and was just about to post something on this myself, but more because of when compare the times for different regions. As the times for Japan would be 12am Friday to 11:59 Sunday. Would be great if in the future the times for events like this included all of Saturday and Sunday for everyone that plays.
