Ever sit in town, chatting with your ls while waiting for a shout, and the conversation gets demolished by shout spam?, but you don't want to filter it because you're waiting for something in particular! Also how about when you're shouting for members or merely assistance, and it gets eaten by said spammage? well, here's my little idea on how to solve it.
Been tossing around this little idea in my head and curious about feedback. expect it to need some serious revamping though, and not because I haven't slept in good day or so. But I'm thinking we could add a secondary thing kinda like the Auction House where one could put up "flyers" of things like linkshell recruitment, or social linkshell's that wouldn't mind getting more members, which I think would be especially useful for newbies if it could be categorized effectively enough.
But let's not stop their ladies and gents, could make it to where there are 'temp flyers' for things like seal runs, mega boss wins, or needing a thf for TH, or a war for red trigger proc's. kinda like how FF12's Mark system worked, but categorized like the Auction house is, and the flyer would have the name of the person that posted it so you could send them a tell or a message for them to get back to.
I've only thought of this little gimmick recently and it's only in the child stages. But if anyone could think of a way this could be effective and perhaps revamped to actually be really useful for the playerbase, I would appreciate it. I just really hate seeing newbies shouting in beginner towns for help because they're lost and confused. really think something like this could improve that, even if only a little bit. that and it'd be shitload more efficient then sitting in town for shouts or shouting for hours for people.
