Ok, as posted in title, there are duplicate maps that come up under the change map section in the map menu. i noticed it as i was updating my map with new markers. The problem, besides it being a duplicate, is it's hard to keep track of markers when you have an exact duplicated map that comes up, and the markers are different...because it's a duplicate and not a copy of the existing map.

I'm on 360, no SOA installed, not sure the particulars of my isp, sorry. And I have the map to this area and site A. Which, both sites A and B have an extra copy in their map sections, available under the change map sectioj of the map menu.

They have duplicates, and always have. Zone isn't built linearly like it appears on the map last I checked, so they use the same looking maps to give that illusion instead, rather than breaking it up into a bunch of smaller maps to make it even more confusing, like certain cave zones which shall not be named....

Ok, as posted in title, there are duplicate maps that come up under the change map section in the map menu.

It's intentional. For whatever reason, being on the "mainland" is considered a different map page from being on the smaller islands. If you can recruit a friend, you can experiment a little to see when you can see their marker on your map and when you can't. Keeping the two map pages identical not only helped to disguise this behavior (probably their intent), but also makes sure you know where you are in relation to the other page. Or you can just set map markers yourself and see when they are no longer accessible.

If you think that's bad, check out the Pso'Xja map for the path to the Shrouded Maw.

The real problem is Ranguemont Pass, where there should be an identical page (up near the Strange Apparatus), but it isn't included in the list.

I see, thank you very much, I did not know and stand corrected. I just copied the markers, so now both maps have the same markers. The real question now is, six months from now, when I'm forced back to this zone for whatever reason/???, lol, will I forget this conversation and get puzzled again by the duplicates.

Set a marker someplace and call it "Page 1 of 2" or "Page 2 of 2." It's how I managed to distinguish where I was in Pso'Xja before they introduced the Change Map feature.
