No Screenshot Slideshow?

This isn't an "in-game bug" per se, but I've noticed that installing from the Ultimate Collection Seekers Edition for PC doesn't include the various screenshot slideshows during the installation process that prior releases and collections had.

At first I thought it was simply an oversight in the installation process for Seekers of Adoulin itself. However, as I type this I'm staring at the hand-drawn artwork of a sea monster attacking the the ferry, the one displayed during the installation of the core FFXI game. There are no in-game screenshots, just the splash screen and a progress bar.

Were these pictures removed deliberately (i.e., to save space on the physical disc I can't buy anyway), or is this a bug?
