Can't be healed

Since the new expansion wen't live on Wednesday night my character can't be healed by anything but the /heal command. He can be the target of heals of any sort, but when they land, they hit for 0 every time. Regen effects don't work either.
The same thing happened to a friend of mine. She was able to fix it by going to "Check Files" in the Playonline main menu, but I've tried this for both Playonline and Final Fantasy XI and neither has solved the problem or even detected it. I just restored my computer to the way it was yesterday morning (prior to the expansion's installation) and the problem persists.

This is just a suggestion, and may have no bearing on your problem, but have you tried joining and leaving a Reive event in Ceizak/Yahse battlegrounds?

I've noticed players with Reive tags can not cast spells on players without Reive tags, and vice versa, and I wonder if your characters are bugged such that it believes you have tags when you don't, or something like that.

I'm trying to figure out how to join one right now so I can try that out, but my problem isn't just that I can't be healed by others. I've been using Dancer as my sub and I can't even heal myself.
